Sales Manager
Department: Industrial Products Division
Reports to: General Manager, Industrial Products Division
Reporting to the General Manager, Industrial Products Dvision, the Industrial
Sales Manager is responsible for the business sales result in a defined large
regional territory. The individual owns the relationship with key regional and
local customers while working with the overall team to drive incremental
revenue.
JOB DUTIES:
• Collaborates with the General Manager, Industrial Products Division to develop
sales forecasts, sales policies and product promotion methods.
• Seeks new opportunities within the territory for sales of Industrial Ovens and
Furnaces within current and new channels, distributors and end users
• Defines regional opportunities and understands the competitive landscape,
segmentation, and needs for the business at the territory level.
• Track sales progress via the sales pipeline and complete key performance
indicator (KPI) dashboards and metrics to measure success.
• Transmits quotes and estimates prepared by Applications Engineering to
customers
• Refers technical or unusual questions from customers regarding product costs,
applications and problems to appropriate internal experts who
can best provide the information.
• Assists in resolving customer complaints/questions regarding terms and
conditions of order.
• Keeps informed of competitor activities through review of information from
customers or other sources.
• Maintains liaison with other departments through completion of sales cycle.
• Develops and maintains accurate reports for the product line.
• Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated track record of sales performance in a relevant industry such as
thermal processing operations, heat treat engineering
• Minimum of 10 years sales experience with capitol equipment, preferably in
thermal processing operations.
• Effective knowledge of thermal processing operations, heat treating engineering
and/or sales experience is a plus.
• 40% travel availability
• Demonstrated ability to deliver and execute in a results-driven organization
through a high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm. - Uncanny ability
to manage conflict towards positive resolution and change that benefits the
business.
• High-energy and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar discipline
• Computer literate, Excel, Microsoft Work, etc.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal Office environment.
