Continuous ovens (also called conveyor ovens) are well suited for high volume processing within a tightly controlled temperature range. Continuous ovens can often be interfaced with upstream and downstream equipment to provide a highly efficient, fully automated process.

ITS’s Continuous ovens are designed and manufactured to the customer’s specific process and facility requirements. Continuous ovens are available as single zone or with multiple zones and can include end-of-line product cooling, electric and gas heating and an assortment of airflow and conveyor options. Airflow options include top-down, bottom-up and combination airflow. Conveyor types include but are not limited to flat wire, slat and fiberglass belting.

Operating temperatures up to 1200º F (650º C) are available. Temperature uniformity of +/- 5º F (+/- 2.8º C) is common on most applications.

Continuous ovens can be used for foundry core drying, aluminum aging, thermal degreasing, annealing, tempering, baking and curing.
