International Thermal Systems’ Core Wash Drying ovens are designed for faster sand core drying with energy saving low heat requirements. Drying time can be as little as four minutes. This dramatically reduces the size of sand core drying storage areas and allows cores to move uninterrupted from the oven to the pouring floor. Core wash drying time is accelerated from hours to minutes and a higher degree of uniformity is achieved.

ITS’s ovens are designed to withstand the foundry environment and deliver energy saving results. The ovens recirculate high volume air with the exhaust air sized to remove water vapor from the core wash coatings. Proper air circulation and exhaust sizing reduces cure time and allows the cores to dry with minimum absorption of heat into the sand core.

Batch and Continuous ovens are available for core wash drying.

Each ITS oven must pass a 120-point quality certification inspection prior to shipment. This certification includes a detailed thermal profile test to insure temperature uniformity throughout the oven.

Continuous Core Wash Drying Oven. Processes 8 tons of sand cores per hour. Features 60 in. wide belt, drip pans and heavy-duty construction. Provides 4 minutes of process time at 400°F.
