Outside Bake ovens are used for drying the decorative coatings on two-piece steel and aluminum cans. International Thermal Systems is a market leader in the design and manufacture of Outside Bake ovens. Combining advanced air distribution engineering with ITS¡¦s VACTRANS vibration-free vacuum transfer system, ITS¡¦s OBO systems provide stable handling though the entire cure and oven loading/unloading process.

ITS¡¦s OBOs can handle the thinnest of can walls damage free. In addition, ITS offers a Dual-Lane option, which allows handling two decorators/coaters simultaneously. One streamlined oven system will do the job of two ovens with this configuration.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Conveyor belt configurations available:  4' (1200 mm) and 6' (1800 mm) single and dual lane and 8' (2500 mm) single lane, all conveyor belts are synthetic
  • Production speeds ranging from 1000 to 4800 cans per minute (dependent on application requirements)
  • Curing temperatures to 480º F (250º C)
  • Options include ambient air cooler and integrated oxidizer
